Ecstasy is a synthetic drug that performs as both a stimulant and a hallucinogen. The primary effect is to stimulate the discharge of large amounts of serotonin as well as dopamine and noradrenaline in the brain. Known today by the street name ecstasy/ MDMA (3-4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine)

How is it used

MDMA is mainly available in tablet form and is usually swallowed. It is also available as a powder which can be snorted and also smoked, but is hardly ever injected.
